Heacham and Rising Deanery

For Lent 2025 we are taking the opportunity to join in with existing services and events around the deanery to get to know more about our neighbouring churches and people.

WEEK 1: Titchwell Church:  Friday 14th March 4pm
Stillness on the Saxon Shore for Lent 

WEEK 2: Heacham Parish Church: Thursday 20th March 11.30 am
Ecumenical Lent service on the theme of hope followed by soup lunch 

WEEK 3: Dersingham Church:  Friday 28th March 12.30pm
Lent lunch followed at 1.30pm by Lent service

WEEK 4: Snettisham Church Hall: Friday 4th April 12.30pm
Lent lunch of soup and bread, followed by a bible study and conversation closing with prayer at
Snettisham Church Hall, 38 Station Rd.

WEEK 5: Sandringham Church: Thursday 10th April at 10.00am
Holy Communion followed by Lectio Divina and Lent lunch.
Lectio Divina is an ancient way of reflecting on scripture and hearing God’s voice.

 WEEK 6: Docking Church: Wednesday 16th April 7pm
Tenebrae – a contemplative and atmospheric service for Holy Week
